Inconsistency is what we specialise in. Even when we have an utterly shit relegation season, you can’t trust us to be shit all season; we’ll go and beat a couple of the best teams on the way down.

Its the inconsistency that gets me.

But thats the West Ham way.

Re: Bournemouth v West Ham - The Official Match Thread FT 2-0
Wrong starting 11, slow ponderous movement which invariably ended is casual loss of possession. It took Bournemouth 10 seconds to get from one end of the pitch to the other when attacking. It took us 10 minutes. Why the manager seemed to think that first half performance was worthy of more for the second half is beyond me.

Snodgrass seems to have fallen out of favour (from the right wing) for no reason whatsoever. Would certainly have started with him right today and Antonio up top.

I thought Snodgrass was well below the high standard he’s been showing this season, Anderson too. That doesn’t mean they were bad, but they were not on their normal games.

It’s progress from where we’ve been since Payet’s first season.

If we could sustain the arsenal form we’d be pushing for top 4, but we can’t.

We are going to need a stronger squad and another summer of building.

The loss of Arnie also cost us today.

I imagine Carroll looks sharp in training, but that’s not done at 100%. It’s the ability to get a yard of space that makes all the difference and I don’t think he has that any more.

I thought Snodgrass brought some much-needed energy when he came on.

I thought Snodgrass and Anderson played well. They link up really well, we should build on that they look like developing a great understanding. Snodgrass was everywhere, attacking, midfield, defending worked very hard.

We are the most inconsistent team in the league, bar none

We have a lot of players who arent as good as we or they think they are, who turn it on when they feel like it

Id like to think that 2 more summer windows with decent money will get MP the team he wants

Fabianski, Zabaleta, Cresswell, Rice, Nasri and Noble played alright today, not amazing, well enough to say that if all the others matched their performances, we would have probably got something out of the match.

Those that can play a lot better were Anderson, Snodgrass, Antonio, Diop and Ogbonna; they will probably be disappointed with their display.

Carrol can play a bit better, not much.

Overall, we got exactly what we deserved.

Bournemouth lost a cup game with a B selection. The other three defeats were away at Spurs, Man Utd and Everton. Games you'd expect them to lose, basically.

They're a good side and deserved to beat us. They're not 'crap' at all.

Bournemouth last five games.

Lost 4
Drew 1

Shit result for us because they are crap.

Bournemouth have no star player (Wilson nearly), they pull together and have no weak links, steady to a man.

Us on the other hand Hve a few individual skillfull players with some donkeys and past it’s as well. We are not the complete unit pulling together.

It shows!

I didn't think it was a tired or lazy performance. I would say we were too complacent today, whether as a consequence of the Arsenal result I don't know. Carroll, Antonio and Nasri in particular were sloppy in possession and always seemed to want way more time on the ball than the opposition allowed them. Credit to Bournemouth for defending so well. Cunts.

Just back after a frustrating day. Can’t get over the fact that for all the huff puff money and dreams we all have we have and the time and effort the club players fans out in., over the last three seasons or so we can’t get past fucking Bournemouth. They are way better organised , younger and faster than most of our side.

We took an age to move the ball and their defence is so tight we never really found a way to open them up . Don’t think anyone played well, we didn’t react to their game plan and probably could have played until next week and still not scored .

We are so tucking inconsistent My post last week after Arsenal was that we needed to keep it going and learn the lessons and we did what we did at Brighton, Huddersfield, Burnley where we really only just about deserved nil!

So fucking frustrating West Ham.

Please sort ya selves out

Oh and most of the new West Ham fans need to fuck off and support another club.

Cunts behind me slagged every player off from minute one.

Shame we lost but suspected it without Arnie.

We need to get rid of the mardy cunt and bring in a big, quick man. ASAP.

Re: Bournemouth v West Ham - The Official Match Thread
Watched the 2nd half on a dodgy stream after they'd scored so I missed the Carroll sitter.

I'd say they were lucky to play us minus Arnie, he would have been the outlet suited to puncture their set up. Thought it looked pretty even tbh apart from them taking their chances & us not.
Pretty irritating that we're stuck with yet another Payet-like situation. Whenever we get some momentum going some f****er or injury crisis always has to come along & screw it all up. Frustrating.

We had a lot of possession but some sloppy passing in front of goal mixed up with an inability to actually get past an opponent made us look pretty clueless upfront. Cue Arnie.
Had Nasri buried his chance 1st half we could have had a very different game.

It's pretty obvious Carroll doesn't fit in & an ageing Chicharito will get more injuries for sure. We need to start from scratch in the summer regarding strikers. I'm not expecting Arnie to hang around either.
Modern footballers eh?

Re: Bournemouth v West Ham - The Official Match Thread
We were appalling. Just back from the game and I have to say only Zab gets let off the others we’re piss poor. Carroll is slower than my mum (she’s been dead years). Anderson was tripe and Nasri looked fucked before we started. Antonio was clueless and Nobes and Rice both had off days. Hernandez can do one and even Snodgrass was below par.

Bournemouth closed us down and pressed us at were twice as quick on the break. Wilson was quality holding up play and Brooke’s and Fraser worked their socks off.

We were frankly just fucking lazy.

Re: Bournemouth v West Ham - The Official Match Thread
I don’t think we played that bad. But we had no threat on their goal. When was our first shot, nearly 80 mins in from outside of the box, by a bloke who has never scored a goal in this league from outside the box. Hernandez can fuck off too on his 140k a week. We could do with two new strikers.
